Prime Minister Narendra Modi slams Congress and others protesting against CAA 2019. Addressing thousands of students and seers of various Mutts on the premises of the Siddaganga Mutt in Tumakuru, He questions why they are not exposing Pakistan.
The anti-CAA protesters were opposing the Union government for implementing the CAA and NRC to safeguard the interests of the minorities in Pakistan and other nations.
“Pakistan discriminates the basis of religion, religious minorities are being persecuted there. The persecuted were forced to come to India as refugees. But Congress and its allies don’t speak against Pakistan, instead, they are taking out rallies against these refugees,” says Modi.
“If you have to raise slogans, do it to highlight the way minorities are being tortured in Pakistan. If you have to take out a procession, do it in support of exploited Hindu minorities who have come to India from Pakistan,” he adds further.
“The Congress and its ecosystem are spreading hate which they have against us and also against the Parliament. They are conducting a protest against minorities who are seeking refuge in India,” says Modi. He slams Congress and others for being anti-refugee.
Those who are agitating against the Parliament of India today, he asks them to expose Pakistan. He asks to raise voice against Pakistan’s atrocities of the last 70 years.
I am fortunate that I am beginning the year 2020 from this pious land. I wish this sacred energy of Sree Siddaganga Mutt enriches the lives of the people of our country,” he added.
