Hindu Raksha Dal, a fringe Hindu outfit claims the responsibility of the violence in JNU. They blame that JNU is a hotbed of anti-national activities, that’s why it has been under attack.
Hindu Raksha Dal leader Pinky Chaudhary claims credit for the JNU violence that left at least 30 people, including students and teachers injured.
“JNU is a hotbed of anti-national activities and we cannot tolerate this. We take full responsibility for the attack in JNU and would like to say that they were our workers,” says Pinky Chaudhary in a video.
Delhi Police is using face recognition to identify masked goons who unleashed horrific violence at the JNU campus. A team from the Delhi Police Crime Branch is at the varsity. They will record a statement from the fringe group Hindu Raksha Dal, whose leader says it is responsible for the violence.

Against the backdrop of the attack on JNU students, the Shiv Sena on Tuesday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sena slams BJP saying that such ‘brutal politics’ has never been seen in the country.
In an editorial, ‘Saamana’ Sena alleges that BJP wanted to see “Hindu-Muslim riots” over CAA but that did not happen. They claim several things happening are out of ‘revenge’ for anti-CAA protests.
Union minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday said “masked” men involved in the JNU’s attack will be exposed soon as the Home Ministry has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
The Delhi Police has filed an FIR against JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh and 19 others for allegedly attacking security guards and vandalizing the server room of the JNU.
Reacting to the development, poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar mocked the Delhi Police. “How dare she stop a nationalist iron rod with her head. These anti-nationals don’t even let our poor goons swing a lathi properly. They always put their bodies there. I know they love to get hurt (sic),” Akhtar writes on Twitter.
