Prime Minister Narendra Modi answers the opposition’s questions about why the government is showing so much hurry indicating about CAA, article 370 etc. Modi says that people of India expect that the government solves their problems quickly. That’s why they changed the ‘Sarkar’ and now they also want the ‘Sarkar’ to be changed.
PM says, “If we had worked according to the old ways and thought processes, Article 370 would never have been history. Muslim women would have kept suffering due to Triple Talaq. Ram Janmabhoomi issue would have remained unsolved. Kartarpur Sahib corridor would not be a reality. There would be no India-Bangladesh land agreement.
He further adds that the government’s aim is – Speed and Scale, Determination and Decisiveness, Sensitivity and Solutions. There are a lot of expectations for us. It is important to overcome the challenges and show some courage.
PM on Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary.
The Prime Minister takes a jibe at Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary in the Lok Sabha today. “When I see & hear Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury ji, I congratulate Kiren Rijiju Ji, Adhir Ji promotes the ‘Fit India Movement’ launched by Rijiju Ji very well. He also does gymming while delivering his speeches. I thank Adhir Ji for promoting this government.”
The Congress leader kept disrupting PM’s speech from the start. The other members of Congress started raising slogans of ‘Mahatma Gandhi Amar Rahe’ as soon as PM starts to speak. On this Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary says that “ye to Abhi trailer hai” to Modi. Responding to which PM says, “Aapke like Mahatma Gandhi trailer ho sakte hai, humare like Gandhi Ji Zindagi hain.”
PM on Rahul Gandhi.
During a rally, Rahul Gandhi said that the youth of the country will “beat PM with sticks” for not providing jobs to youth. “The PM won’t be able to come out of his home. The youth of this country will beat him up with sticks. And will make him understand that this country can’t progress without providing jobs to the youth.”
Responding to which Modi says that he will do more Surya Namaskar from now on to deal with the assault. “I heard an opposition MP saying, youth will beat Modi with sticks in six months. I have also decided, will do more Surya Namaskar. This will make my back even stronger to face abuses. In any case, I have been abused so much for the last 2 decades that their negativity hardly matters.”
PM tears into Congress.
Responding to Congress’ ‘Save the Constitution’ protest last month, PM asks Congress to say ‘save constitution’ a hundred times a day.
Hitting back at all the allegations that his government is destroying the soul of the constitution, PM says that Congress needs to develop a deeper understanding of the constitution.
“There has been a talk of ‘save constitution’. I agree Congress should say this 100 times in a day. Maybe they will realize their past mistakes. Did you forget this slogan during Emergency? When the state governments were dismissed? When cabinet resolutions were torn?”
