Home Minister Amit Shah tests Covid19 positive. The Union Minister is admitted to Medanta hospital in Gurugram. Amit Shah tweets and informs about his Covid19 diagnosis. He requests those who have come in contact with him in the last few days to self-isolate themselves.

Amit Shah says that his health is fine but on his doctor’s advice he has shifted to hospital. The authorities will be doing a contact tracing of Amit Shah to detect those who have been in his contact in the last few days. 

“On getting initial symptoms of coronavirus, I got the test done and the report came back positive. My health is fine, but I am being admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. I request that all those who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your inquiry done,” tweets Amit Shah.

According to doctors, Amit Shah has comorbidities and he comes under the vulnerable category. The doctors will keep him under observation and monitor his oxygen levels from now on. Amit Shah took part in the cabinet meeting last week where New Education Policy was passed. However, it is yet to be confirmed if he met PM Modi recently or not.

Home Minister Amit Shah has been leading the Covid19 battle in India from the forefront. Setting aside political differences, Shah also helped the Delhi government to control the spike of Covid19. He held a series of meetings and discussions with Arvind Kejriwal to bring the Covid19 situation under control in Delhi.

Ram Mandir ‘Bhoomi Poojan’.

Home Minister Amit Shah was also on the list of invitees for Ram Mandir ‘bhoomi poojan’, but according to sources he was not going to attend the puja. Now after testing Covid19 positive, Amit Shah may impact other invitees’ presence at ‘bhoomi poojan’ on August 5.

Several politicians are wishing Amit Shah for a speedy recovery. BJP leaders, Ram Madhav, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Tejasvi Surya have wished home minister for a speedy recovery and return to serving the nation with the same energy.
