IAF Jets, Navy Choppers flypast to salute the corona warriors.

The Indian Armed Forces on Sunday, showcase their solidarity with the frontline corona warriors. Indian Airforce, Indian Navy and Indian Army all the three services exhibit their gratitude towards – doctors, nurses, police personnel, sanitation workers. Thousands of ‘corona warriors’ are working on the forefront across the country to win the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.

In order to express their appreciation the IAF Jets are conducting flypasts across the length and breadth of the country. There are several other arrangements made by the forces for today to say ‘thank you’ to frontline warriors.

The Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh on Friday, chaired a meeting where they finalized that the military will honour the frontline warriors on Sunday. National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval and Chief of Defence Staff, Bipin Rawat also attended the meeting.

The Aerial Honour.

IAF Jets resume their aerial honour services as they conduct a flypast from Dal Lake in Srinagar. From here the IAF aircrafts conduct a flypast to Rajpath in Delhi to exhibit their gratitude towards frontline workers. Indian Air Force chopper holds a flypast over Haryana’s Government Hospital in Panchkula. 

The IAF aircraft also conduct flypasts over Civil Hospital in Shillong and Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences in Bhubaneswar. IAF’s three aircrafts SU-30 flypast Mumbai’s Marine Drive to express their gratitude towards frontline warriors.

Showering Flower Petals

The IAF choppers shower flower petals on the Police War Memorial in Delhi to express their solidarity with the police officials. Indian Air Force has decided to shower flower petals over hospitals across the country as well.

The IAF aircraft showers flowers on King George’s Medical University in Lucknow in solidarity with the healthcare professionals fighting the Covid19 battle. Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru also receives IAF’s honour through showering flower petals.

To pay their tribute to healthcare workers IAF aircraft showers flowers on Chennai’s Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital. Chirayu Medical College and Hospital also receive the same honour from IAF. Indian Airforce chopper also showers flowers on the staff of INHS Asvini of Indian Navy in Mumbai.

Military Bands and Naval Ships Tribute.

While the Indian Air Force is paying their tribute by conducting flypasts and showering flower petals across several locations in the country, the Indian Military and Indian Navy have their own set of plans. 

The Indian Military has decided to express their gratitude towards frontline warriors by playing military bands across the country. On Sunday, the Military Bands played patriotic tunes at important locations in Bengaluru. The bands will perform at several hospitals treating Covid19 patients across the country.

Showcasing their gratitude towards ‘corona warriors’ the military band has performed at Vidhan Soudha, MG road and War Memorial in Bengaluru. They are honouring the government officials, healthcare professionals, and sanitation workers for their efforts and sacrifices.

Whereas the Naval Ships will light up during the evening time on Sunday. The Naval Ships at the coasts of Mumbai, Porbandar, Chennai Kochi, Port Blair, Vizag and Karwar will light up and fire flares to express their solidarity.

This is the third time India is honouring their frontline warriors during this fight against coronavirus pandemic. Earlier on PM Modi’s request the whole nation expressed their gratitude by clapping and lighting diyas in honour of corona warriors.
