Superstar Salman Khan’s‘Ready’ co-star Mohit Baghel dies due to cancer at the age of 26. Mohit was famous for his role as ‘Amar Chaudhary’ in the movie ‘Ready’ starring Salman Khan and Asin. The actor succumbs to cancer today morning at his residence in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. 

Raaj Shaandilyaa, director of ‘Dream Girl’ mourns the demise of the actor Mohit Baghel. Raaj informed the PTI about the actor’s death. “He is gone too soon. He was undergoing treatment for cancer in AIIMS hospital in Delhi since six months. I spoke to him last on May 15 and that time he was ok, he had started recovering. He stayed with his parents and elder brother in Mathura. I learnt about his demise from a common friend, who said he passed away today morning at his residence.”

Raaj has worked with Mohit as a writer in Comedy Circus and Jabariya Jodi. He wanted to cast Mohit in his directorial debut ‘Dream Girl’ but couldn’t due to Mohit’s date issues. “He was such a talented actor. His comic timing was great. He had two films with him that time – Milan Talkies and Bunty Aur Babli 2 – so we couldn’t work together on Dream Girl,” says Raaj.

Mohit’s Journey in Entertainment Industry.

Though Mohit’s journey in the entertainment industry was short, he still managed to leave a void in everyone’s heart. Mohit began his career from “Chote Miyaan“, a comedy show. He worked with Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in ‘Jabariya Jodi’. Mohit was also a part of Ekkees Toppon Ki Salami and Gali Gali Chor Hai movies.

He was also a part of the cast of the upcoming movie “Bunty Aur Babli 2“. Mohit recently completed the shooting of a movie with Siddharth Malhotra.

Siddharth & Parineeti Condoles Mohit.

Condoling their Jabariya Jodi co-star, Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra express their grief over the demise of Mohit Baghel. Parineeti tweets, “One of the nicest people to work with! Happy, positive and motivated always. Love you Mohit. RIP?? #JabariyaJodi.”

“Really shocked to hear this news. Mohit was such a young, happy, funny & talented guy. We just shot a whole film together! Upsetting news, my prayers with his family,” tweets Siddharth Malhotra.
